Taxidermy Legal Notices
WARNING: The purchase and possession of taxidermy is regulated in the United States by federal and state laws. Some taxidermy is also regulated by international treaties that have been signed by the United States with other nations. If and when the CLJ01 estate acts in the capacity of seller of any of the taxidermy displayed on this website, the CLJ01 estate has verified with the following government agencies that said taxidermy may legally be sold by the CLJ01 estate in Washington State and may legally be purchased and possessed by legal residents of Washington State:

Taxidermy not displayed on this website has not been reviewed by the government agencies listed above and has therefore not been approved to be sold, purchased, or possessed anywhere in the United States. All of the taxidermized animals displayed on this website have been lawfully obtained by the CLJ01 estate.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Approval
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service – Office of Law Enforcement has reviewed the taxidermy images displayed on this website and approved all of them for sale and purchase anywhere in the United States. This is a federal approval only – it is always superseded by State taxidermy law. The only exception to this approval may be the zebras. If any of them are determined to be a Grevy’s Zebra they can only be sold in Washington State to legal residents of Washington State per the Endangered Species Act.
Non-Washington State Residents
Persons who are not legal residents of Washington State are subject to the laws of the State in which they legally reside that govern the purchase and possession of taxidermy. State taxidermy laws may be different as it concerns in-State versus out-of-State taxidermy purchases and the subsequent possession of the purchased taxidermy. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF NON-WASHINGTON STATE RESIDENTS TO DETERMINE WHETHER THEY ARE ALLOWED TO PURCHASE AND POSSESS ANY OF THE TAXIDERMY DISPLAYED ON THIS WEBSITE. THIS RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DETERMINING THE SPECIES OF INDIVIDUAL TAXIDERMY ITEMS BEFORE THEY ARE PURCHASED TO DETERMINE IF PURCHASE AND/OR POSSESSION OF SAID TAXIDERMY ITEMS VIOLATES STATE LAW. THE CLJ01 ESTATE, AND INTERCONNECT DIGITAL LLC – DBA ESTATE ASSETS MARKETING, SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR NON-WASHINGTON STATE RESIDENTS’ COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THEIR STATE THAT GOVERN THE PURCHASE AND POSSESSION OF TAXIDERMY.

The CLJ01 estate has contacted each of the following state government agencies to determine if any of the taxidermy displayed on this website is prohibited from being purchased in Washington State and possessed by legal residents of their state. The answers given to the CLJ01 estate by these agencies are based upon the understanding of state law by the wildlife law enforcement officers that were spoken with. Even though the CJL01 estate has contacted each of these agencies and received their answer, the buyer of taxidermy displayed on this website is ultimately responsible for compliance with their state wildlife laws.
